Travel Information

To help make your trip a little easier, we've put together a few travel tips. We recommend flying into SDQ and staying in Zona Colonial so you'll be close to all the wedding events and can enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Arrivals

Primary Airport: SDQ (Las Américas International Airport)
This is the closest and easiest airport to fly into. It is just about 25 minutes from Zona Colonial.

Alternative Airport: PUJ (Punta Cana International Airport)
If you fly into Punta Cana, plan for a drive of at least 2 hours to Santo Domingo, so be sure to arrange transportation in advance.

Local Transit

We recommend using Uber to get around. It's the easiest way to explore Santo Domingo.

Renting a car is always an option, but Dominican traffic can be crazy. Unless you're feeling brave, we'd recommend Uber or your hotel's transportation.
